Back Room Wines pours six wines made from "Old Vines" on this Friday evening. Old Vines ("Vieilles Vignes" in French) has no requirement as to minimum age. It's all on the international honor system, really. We consider Old Vines to be at least 50 years of age. Come in and taste Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah, Grenache and more in this unique, wonderful tasting. California, France and Spain will be three of the wine areas/countries represented. There might be more. Old Vine Wine Line-up will be posted about a week before the event. No reservation necessary. Wines poured this evening on sale for 10% discount during the tasting.
