Award-winning cookbook author and San Francicsco cheese columnist Janet Fletcher will offer classes surveying the world of cheese at Fish Story each month May through September.
Tonight's class will feature American cheddar and how it compares to its British counterpart, or how the best American Gouda compares to the best from Holland. You’ll taste four pairs of cheeses, side by side, and then judge for yourself which cheese tastes best.
Classes will be held at Fish Story on the second Tuesday of each month May through September 2013. They will begin with a half-hour reception, followed by a sit-down cheese tasting. Each month will feature a unique guest winery or brewery in addition to the illustrious cheese selections.
Please Note: Reservations are required. Janet Fletcher’s books will be available for sale at each event. Attendees will receive 10% off dining at Fish Story that same evening. Cheeses selected by Janet Fletcher will also be featured on the dessert menu at Fish Story each month.
