Fish Story is hosting a fundraising dinner on Thursday, Nov. 7, to benefit Village Health Works, a grassroots nonprofit organization providing health care in rural Burundi in east Africa.
Deogratias “Deo” Niyizonkiza, the founder and CEO of Village Health Works, will attend.
Amuse Bouche Winery is leading the effort and donating wines made by winemaker Heidi Barrett. Fish Story chef Scott Ekstrom will prepare a special menu paired with wines from Amuse Bouche.
Among the lots in the live auction are large-format bottles of Heidi Barrett’s Screaming Eagle and Amuse Bouche wines, a VIP experience with the Golden State Warriors and a trip to Burundi.
